The NUUO NS-2040 is a 4-channel IP Network Video Recorder designed for robust surveillance systems. It supports up to 16 channels with license expansion and features H.264, M-JPEG, MPEG4, and MXPEG compression for efficient video storage.

The front panel features the NUUO logo on the left, followed by two USB 2.0 ports and a reset button. On the right side, there is a circular power button with an LED indicator, and below it, three additional LED indicators for system status (e.g., network activity, HDD activity, alarm status).

The rear panel includes various connectivity ports:

   Unscrew the NVR casing. Install up to two 3.5-inch SATA hard drives into the designated bays using the provided screws. Secure the drives firmly and reattach the casing.

   Connect an Ethernet cable from your router/switch to one of the NVR's RJ45 network ports.
